It Began With a Pair of Shoes That Went Too Far
RANTAU started in 2019 from a small workshop in Bandung, when our founder struggled to find work shoes that could survive daily commuting yet still look right in a client meeting. From there came a line of shoes and bags designed for people who are always on the move: from home to the office, from the city to the mountain, from one airport to the next.

Tested Before Selling
Every new design is worn by our team for at least 30 days of real travel before it enters the catalogue, not just in studio photos.
Produced in Small Batches
We deliberately avoid mass production so the stitching quality of every unit can be checked one by one by an artisan.
Lifetime Stitching Warranty
Loose stitching that is not caused by misuse can be repaired for free at our workshop in Bandung.
